Women play an important role in Agricultural and rural development. They are the key contributor in progress of crop production, livestock maintenance and household management. Hence empowering women is an important step to sustainable rural development.

Data collection and recording of household information can be done by forming women task force. Women leaders being at different administrative hierarchies can coordinate necessary meetings and trainings for the women. This procedure will organize women communities which can also initiate small scale cottage industries. Thus women can be engaged in this development initiative.
